Cables
Human chaos translated into visual geometry.
Critical text
Cables was born from observing the wired disorder that fills our cities. wires, pipes, connections, cables tangled outside buildings like exposed roots. A chaos that seems ungovernable, and that instead. if you look long enough. begins to reveal a secret geometry.
I translated that apparent disorder into painting. Cables become lines, knots become compositional nodes, technical function transfigures into visual rhythm. It's an attempt to make legible what we usually ignore.
Behind Cables lies a hypothesis: that chaos doesn't really exist. That it's only an order larger than what we're used to seeing. Painting is the tool with which I try to see it.
